Asian Zing Sauce Recipe
This was inspired by my other copycat Buffalo Wild Wings sauce recipe on this site and pairs well with this amazing broiled chicken wing recipe.
Ingredients
It only takes a few simple ingredients to make this sauce. You'll find them all easily at your local grocery store.
- Cornstarch
- Rice wine vinegar
- Corn syrup
- Chili garlic sauce
- Soy sauce
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Ground ginger
- Garlic powder
- Sugar
- Salt

Step 1: Make the Sauce
Add the cornstarch to a large bowl. Then, add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and whisk thoroughly until combined.
Hint: A whisk is a much better option for this recipe than a spoon. The cornstarch needs to be really mixed well with the other ingredients.

Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons Rice Wine Vinegar
- ½ cup Corn Syrup
- ¼ cup Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ⅓ cup Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Grab a resealable bag and throw wings inside. Add enough oil to coat and dump on baking sheet covered in tinfoil. Sprinkle wings with salt and pepper. Bake the chicken wings at 400 degrees F for 60 minutes and golden brown.
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- Grab a large bowl and add cornstarch. Next, add rice vinegar and stir. Once blended, add corn syrup, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and lemon juice, ginger, garlic powder, salt, and ginger.
- Whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Serve.
- Simply toss baked wings in sauce and enjoy every bite!
