Is there anything better than fudge? I certainly don't think so! I love all kinds of fudge, from cooked on the stove to no-bake varieties.

This particular fudge is exceptionally great because it's so rich and creamy, and it takes almost no effort to make it. Yay!

Why You Will Love this Recipe

    • It's rich and creamy - the perfect fudge.
    • It only takes a handful of ingredients to make.
    • It's loaded with banana flavor that's perfect for any occasion.

    Ingredients

This recipe only takes 4 ingredients to make, and you'll find them all easily at the store, sugar free or not. Check out the recipe card at the end of the post for exact amounts.

    • White almond bark
    • Sweetened condensed milk
    • Banana pudding
    • Vanilla wafers
Banana pudding ingredients on the table.

    Substitutions and Variations

    • Banana Pudding - Completely change the flavor of this fudge by using a different pudding mix.
    • Add-Ins - Try sprinkling the fudge with your favorite cookies. Almost any simple cookie will work. You can also make things fun by adding sprinkles.
    • White Almond Bark - Use white chocolate mixed with a couple of teaspoons of vegetable oil in place of the bark. If you need more information about using white chocolate please have a look here.
    • Sugar-Free - Use sugar-free sweetened condensed milk, sugar-free vanilla wafers, sugar-free pudding mix, and bark or chocolate sweetened with stevia.

    Instructions

This is a super simple recipe that anyone can make. The overview is below, but you can find the complete instructions in the recipe card at the end of the post.

1: Heat condensed milk on stove until hot but not boiling and add pudding. Stir until dissolved. Add the chocolate in pieces and stir until blended. Mixture will be thick. OR melt chocolate in 25 second bursts in microwave stirring in between each, until melted and then add to condensed milk and stir until blended. Mixture will be thick.

Pudding mix added to the large glass bowl with the melted almond bark and condensed milk.

2: Pour into a baking dish lined with foil and top with crushed vanilla wafers.

Freezer: Store in the freezer for up to 3 months in an air-tight container.

    What to Serve with Fudge

This fudge is so good with a glass of milk or a cup of tea or coffee. It's also wonderful as part of a larger dessert table or a dessert bar with cookies, cupcakes, and other sweets.

    Tips

    • Be sure you mix the fudge very well. You can't overmix it, but you can undermix it.
    • This fudge is good after a couple of hours in the fridge, but it's great after chilling overnight!
    • Fudge will taste great but will be grainy if instant pudding mix does not dissolve in condensed milk.
    • If microwaving the chocolate to melt it remember it will cool quickly. Once melted add to pudding mixture and stir as quickly as possible until blended.
    • Use a double boiler or heavy bottomed saucepan if possible on stove over medium low heat for best results.
    • Stir until mixture is smooth and STIR CONSTANTLY. This fudge can burn quickly and is thick.

How do you use the pudding? Do you mix it like on the box or how do you use it?

I apologize for the delay in my response it was unavoidable. Use instant pudding in the 3.4 oz or 96 gram box. Hope you enjoy this fudge as much as we all do and I’m not too late. All the best. Karin
