This was inspired by my braided pizza bread recipe on this site and pairs well with this amazing instant pot chicken parmesan pasta recipe.

- Italian bread
- Roasted garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Unsalted butter
- Dried rosemary
- Dried oregano
- Dried basil
- Onion powder
- Finely chopped scallion
- Mayonnaise
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Chopped Italian parsley
- Smoked paprika

Instructions
This is a simple recipe to make, requiring only a few easy steps.
Step 1: Make the Garlic Butter Spread Base
Combine softened butter, mayonnaise, rosemary, oregano, basil, onion powder, fennel, scallion, parmesan cheese, and parsley in a large bowl and mix well.
Step 2: Add Garlic to Butter Mixture
Puree your roasted garlic and add it to the butter mixture.
Step 3: Air Fry the Bread
Slice the bread in lengthwise, as for a sandwich. Spread the garlic butter on top of the bread and cut it into pieces that will fit in the air fryer. Air fry at 380 degrees for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Serve
Sprinkle the garlic bread with paprika, more parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley and serve.
Hint: Don't be afraid to really mix your butter mixture. The more thoroughly mixed, the better!

Ingredients
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 1 bulb garlic roasted
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon rosemary dried
- 1 teaspoon oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon basil dried
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon fennel
- 1 scallion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- ¼ cup parmesan grated
- 2 tablespoon Italian parsley fresh chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Prepare your garlic bulb for roasting. You'll be so glad you did.
- Meanwhile, prepare garlic butter. Combine softened butter, mayonnaise, rosemary, oregano, basil, onion powder, fennel, scallion, parmesan, and parsley in a large bowl.
- Mix well.
- Remove garlic from the air fryer.
- Squeeze the garlic gently out of the bulb and directly into a food processor. Purée.
- Add to the butter and stir to combine.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Slice bread in half sandwich style.
- Spread butter over the tops of the bread.
- Cut into pieces to fit into the air fryer, as desired. Sprinkle paprika over the bread and shred a bit more cheese over the top.
- Like this, with one slice on top of the other.
- Open faced.
- Or in smaller pieces.
- Decide and add your bread to the basket. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Until golden brown.
- Serve hot!
