I love making preacher cookies. They're so delicious and so easy. Recently, I decided to give them a twist by adding Nutella, and the results were amazing!

    Nutella Preacher Cookie Recipe

This was inspired by my other preacher cookie recipe on this site and makes a great dessert after a meal of these amazing chicken thighs.

    Ingredients

It only takes a few simple ingredients to make these cookies. Chances are, you have all the ingredients in your kitchen already.

    • Granulated sugar
    • Cocoa powder
    • Unsalted butter
    • Milk
    • Quick oats
    • VAnilla extract
    • Nutella
    • Peanut butter

See the recipe card at the end of the post for quantities.

    Instructions

Making this recipe is super easy. It only takes a few minutes, and even beginner bakers can make it.

    Step 1: Boil

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in a pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 2: Add the Remaining Ingredients

Remove the boiling mixture from the heat and immediately add the oats, vanilla extract, Nutella, and peanut butter and mix until thoroughly combined.

    Step 3: Drop the Cookies

To make the cookies, drop a spoonful of the mixture onto wax paper, filling up the wax paper with cookies. Let the cookies sit until hardened.

Hint: Add your remaining ingredients as soon as you remove the boiling mixture from the heat so everything combines well.

    • Pure Peanut Butter - If you don't have cocoa powder, simply omit it for a purely peanut butter and Nutella version.
