Balsamic Grapes and Sausage includes balsamic or white vinegar, sauteed or roasted Italian sausages with grapes, onion, mushrooms, sweet peppers and more!

    Sausage and Grapes

The first time we tried sausages and grapes we could not believe how much we both loved it! I was absolutely shocked too. The combination just always seemed odd to me.

The reality is that the combination is totally perfect and I urge everyone to try this recipe at least once! Assuming you are an Italian sausage fan of course!

Italian sausage with grapes and balsamic vinegar is a perfect dish for any occasion. You can easily swap out the balsamic vinegar for white vinegar if you are not a fan of balsamic vinegar.

But if you are willing to roll the dice, try this sausage and sauteed bell peppers balsamic vinegar recipe with balsamic vinegar at least once. I think you will be glad you did.

    Sauteed Sausages

Theres something about this sauteed sausage and grapes recipe that will have you making it over and over again. This sausage grapes and balsamic vinegar recipe is a definite keeper.

    Pan Roasted Sausage and Grapes

My son Patrick learned to saute or pan roast sausages using a recipe very similar to this one and he called it "sausage grapes".

    Italian Sausage and Grapes

This sausage and grapes recipe is both adult and kid friendly. This sausage grapes and balsamic vinegar recipe is so tasty.

How to make Balsamic Grapes, Italian Sausage and Vegetables

Heat oil in a large skillet with a lid over medium heat until oil is shimmering or a drop of water flicked in it dances.

Arrange sausages in pan and cook until brown on sides, rotating sausages a few times, between 5 and 6 minutes.

Tilt skillet and carefully remove excess fat with paper towel.

Distribute grapes, garlic, mushrooms, peppers and onion over and around sausages.

Add water or broth and immediately cover.

Cook, turning sausages at least once, until they reach 160 degrees and onions, mushrooms, peppers and grapes have softened, about 10 minutes.

Transfer sausages to a plate with paper towel.

Return skillet to medium-high heat and add pepper and salt into mixture.

Spread grape-onion mixture in even layer in skillet and cook without stirring until browned, 3 to 5 minutes.

Stir and continue to cook until mixture is browned, about 3 minutes longer.

Reduce heat to medium, add wine and oregano, and cook until wine is reduced, 2-4 minutes.

Remove pan from heat and add vinegar.

Serve sausages with grape mixture on top or beside.

    Enjoy!
