These Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats are a tasty no-bake dessert that feels like summer! They are brightly colored, and the Jello takes them over the top.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 1 3 ounce packet strawberry Jell-O powder

Instructions

  • Melt your butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Once the butter is completely melted, add the marshmallows. Continue stirring until the marshmallows are melted down all the way.
  • Turn off the burner and add the cereal and strawberry Jell-O powder. Gently fold to combine, ensuring the Jell-O powder is well incorporated and the cereal is evenly coated.
  • Spread your rice krispie mixture into a 9x13 inch pan and let the bars cool on the counter for an hour.
  • Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days either on the counter or in the refrigerator. 
  • Layer the treats with wax paper if needed to keep them from sticking together.
  • Mix all the ingredients well to ensure everything is well distributed, especially the Jello powder.
