Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Tenderloin

This Mississippi Pork Tenderloin is an easy slow cooker recipe the family will love. Add the ingredients to the pot and let it cook all day to yummy perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin You can also use 4 pork chops or a 2-5 pound pork roast.
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet pork gravy mix
  • 1 packet dried ranch seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, thinly sliced
  • 4-8 pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  • Place the pork tenderloin in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the water on top. Sprinkle the gravy mix and Ranch seasoning over the pork.
  • Place sliced butter on top of the pork. Add pepperoncini peppers on top and around the pork.
  • Put the lid on top of the slow cooker and cook for 3-4 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high.
  • The pork is done when an internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
  • Slice the pork and serve with the cooking liquid as gravy. Enjoy every bite!

Notes

  • Store leftover pork tenderloin in an airtight container. It will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Try searing the pork tenderloin in a super-hot skillet to get a nice brown crust on the outside. This adds flavor and locks in juices, but is not required.
  • Allow the pork tenderloin to rest for a few minutes before you slice. This ensures maximum juiciness!
