- 24 pre-cooked mini sausages
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 3 tubes (8 count) crescent roll dough
- cooking spray or melted butter
Coat a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or melted butter and preheat your oven to 375°F.
Separate your crescent roll dough and place a small spoonful of cheese on each triangle.
Place a sausage link on each triangle and roll the crescent roll to seal the ingredients inside.
Place them on the baking sheet and cook for 13 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool on pan for a few minutes.
Remove from pan and serve with sour cream, mustard, onion ketchup or maple syrup drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
- Use a foil instead of parchment paper for easy cleanup as foil evenly distributes heat.
- Don't add too much filling or your sausage rolls may open up.
- Use a metal pan to bake for even heat distribution as glass or ceramic dishes offer uneven heat and can result in soggy bottoms.
- Use whatever size baking sheet you have on hand as the crescent rolls will not spread very much so you can put them pretty close together.
- Make sure oven is fully preheated before adding crescent rolls to avoid soggy bottoms.
- Place baking sheet on a higher shelf so that the top will brown faster.
