Samoa Rice Krispie Treats are a great no-bake treat for chocolate and coconut lovers. They are mixed and layered before they are set to create a magical bite.

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Once the butter is completely melted, add the marshmallows. Stir the marshmallows continually until they are melted down all the way. Fold in the cereal and 1 cup of coconut flakes.
Transfer half of the rice krispie mixture into a 9x13 inch pan coated with nonstick cooking spray or butter. Press the mixture into an even layer.
Add the chocolate chips to the pot and turn the heat to low. Continue stirring the mixture until the chocolate chips are completely melted. Press the mixture into the pan.
Top your rice krispie treats with the remaining coconut flakes. Chill your rice krispie treats in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Slice, serve, and enjoy!
- Store leftover treats in an airtight container for up to 3 days on the counter or in the fridge.
- You may use unsalted butter if you don’t have salted, but I recommend that you add a pinch of salt for balance.
- Line your pan with parchment paper to make the treats easier to lift and slice.
