Roasted Garlic in Air Fryer

Roasted garlic in the air fryer delivers rich, deep, mellow garlic flavor that's perfect in any dish that requires garlic.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes
  • Slice the top third of garlic bulb off.

  • Place onto a sheet of foil cut side up.
  • Brush oil on exposed garlic cloves.

  • Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper and roll foil into a ball.

  • Place into the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes.

  • Remove garlic from the air fryer. Squeeze the garlic gently out of the bulb.

  • I encourage you you try taking a freshly roasted garlic clove and smearing it on a piece of bread or a cracker. Heavenly to a garlic fan.
  • Allow garlic to cool. Store as whole cloves or mash up or purée with a fork or food processor.

  • I fill every hole in an ice cube tray, freeze, and store garlic cubes in a resealable bag until needed. I toss cubes inside tomato and cream sauces as often as possible and in so much more. Roasted garlic is wonderful.
  • You can also add it to butter with some parsley.
  • Stir to combine.

Notes

  • Always preheat your air fryer for even cooking.
  • Don't cut too far down when trimming your garlic. You want all that tasty garlic to be preserved.
