Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes
Slice the top third of garlic bulb off.
Exposing the garlic cloves.
Place onto a sheet of foil cut side up.
Brush oil on exposed garlic cloves.
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper and roll foil into a ball.
Place into the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes.
Remove garlic from the air fryer. Squeeze the garlic gently out of the bulb.
I encourage you you try taking a freshly roasted garlic clove and smearing it on a piece of bread or a cracker. Heavenly to a garlic fan.
Allow garlic to cool. Store as whole cloves or mash up or purée with a fork or food processor.
I fill every hole in an ice cube tray, freeze, and store garlic cubes in a resealable bag until needed. I toss cubes inside tomato and cream sauces as often as possible and in so much more. Roasted garlic is wonderful.
You can also add it to butter with some parsley.
