Remove the pot from heat and quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated in the marshmallow mixture.
Add the crushed Oreo cookies, reserving ¼ cup to sprinkle on top and gently mix until combined, ensuring the cookie chunks are evenly distributed.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan, pressing it down evenly using a greased spatula or clean, buttered hands.
Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup crushed oreo’s over the krispie treats.
