Servings: 100 gummy bears
Calories: 3kcal
- 1 3-ounce package Jello any flavour you wish
- 1 tablespoon unflavoured gelatin
- ⅓ cup cold water 2.7 fl.oz
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the jello, the gelatin and water until combined.
Let the bowl stand for 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom.
Microwave the bowl on high for 30 seconds. Whisk to make sure that all the powder has dissolved. Microwave on high for an additional 15 seconds. You want the jello mixture to be very liquid-y and thin to be able to use the eye dropper.
Place your molds on a cookie sheet so that you can move them without spilling. Use the candy or eye dropper to pour a little bit of the jello mixture into each gummy bear mold.
Place in the fridge to chill for 15 minutes.
Once the 15 minutes has passed, un-mold the gummy bears and enjoy immediately.
- Store your Jello gummy bears in a Ziploc bag for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
- Don’t freeze them! When the gummies thaw, they melt into a sticky mess.
- Skip the nonstick cooking spray! It’s not needed to grease the silicone molds as the gummy bears will come out of them just fine.
