Get out and measure your ingredients.
Prepare pizza according to the package directions.
In a medium mixing bowl, gently combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Be sure not to work the meat too much.
Make 4 ground beef patties, creating an indentation in the middle of each patty. (I use a flatbottomed glass.) This will help your burgers to flatten while cooking.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. When skillet is ready, spray with non-stick cooking spray and add patties.
Cook until each side is nicely browned and center is cooked to your preference.
It is recommended to reach an internal temperature of 160ºF for well-done.
Remove patties from pan and add a slice of mozzarella cheese to each patty, allowing cheese slices to melt.
When pizza is done, use a round cutter to cut circle “buns” the size of your burgers. You will need to cut 8 buns for 4 burgers.
Create pizza burgers by placing each burger in between two pizza “buns.” Place pizza bun on plate.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy every bite!
