- ½ cup salted butter melted
- 3 cups crushed Oreos plus more for topping if desired
- 16 ounce cool whip thawed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 5.9 ounce chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir together the melted butter, and 2 cups of crushed Oreos. Press the Oreo mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish to create a crust. Set aside.
Combine the powdered sugar, half the cool whip, half the cream, and 1 cup of crushed Oreos in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric hand mixer to whisk the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
Whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until no clumps remain. Pour the pudding into the baking dish and carefully smooth it out over the first layer of cool whip.
Whisk together the remaining cool whip, cream, and vanilla in a large bowl for 1-2 minutes, or until smooth. Carefully spread the cool whip over the pudding.
Chill your Oreo delight in the freezer for 4 hours. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
- Tightly cover the Oreo Delight with plastic wrap to ensure it doesn’t form ice crystals in the freezer.
- The buttery Oreo crust does a great job keeping the dessert from sticking to the bottom, so I skip the nonstick cooking spray.
- Don’t overmix the Cool Whip and cream, or it will become flat and runny. This will take away its creamy texture.
