Ingredients

  • Cherry pie filling for garnishing starting with ½ cup

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, blend together powdered sugar and cream cheese using an electric hand or stand mixture. It will be crumbly at first but after about 2-3 minutes of mixing, it should be smooth.
  • Add in all over ingredients except for the pie filling. Mix until smooth and thick.
  • Cover and place inside the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  • When ready to serve, place in a large dip bowl or serving bowl and top with the pie filling to garnish. Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, or any other dipping tools of your choice.

Notes

Use an electric hand or stand mixer for mixing. It makes it easier to blend together the cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. This makes sure it’s cold and thick for the best scooping.
Always use room temperature ingredients when making this dish for best results.
Use full-fat cream cheese for the best flavor and texture.
