Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

- ¾-1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
Prepare crock pot with cooking spray. Place the chicken pieces in the bottom of the crockpot, sprinkle cheese, if desired, then add the green beans.
Sprinkle with one package of stuffing mix.
Combine the chicken soup, the remaining package of stuffing mix and the water. Add onion flakes, if desired. Spread over the stuffing mix.
Place the lid on the crockpot and set on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 4 to 5 hours.
You can add a sprinkle of parsley before serving.
- Coat the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray to prevent the chicken and stuffing from sticking to the pot.
- Use dry stuffing mix, such as Stove Top. Add it to the casserole uncooked. Do not pre-cook the stuffing before adding it to the slow cooker.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper before placing it in the crockpot to enhance the overall flavor of the dish.
