- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped cream cheese softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 pkt (1 oz) ranch seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups cooked chicken shredded (I use a rotisserie chicken)
- 8 slices bacon cooked and chopped
- 4 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tablespoons chives sliced
Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected, and place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until smooth.
Stir in the shredded chicken and chopped bacon until evenly coated.
Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom rolls. Spoon the chicken mixture over the cheese and gently spread it into an even layer. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese, then place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the filling is heated through, and the tops of the rolls are lightly golden brown.
Remove the sliders from the oven and immediately sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan cheese and sliced chives. Let them cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders and serving warm.
- Start with quality ingredients: Use rotisserie chicken for convenience and flavor, soften the cream cheese before mixing, and shred your own cheese for the smoothest, meltiest results.
- Assemble carefully: Keep the rolls connected for easier assembly and slicing, toast the bottom buns briefly to help prevent sogginess, and spread the filling evenly so every slider is packed with flavor.
- Bake for the best texture: Avoid overbaking and remove the sliders once the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden brown.
- Make them your own: Adjust the ranch seasoning, bacon, or cheese to customize the flavor to your family's preferences.
- Rest and serve warm: Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing, then serve warm for the best flavor, texture, and cheesy goodness.
