Brown Sugar Pork Chops (Easy Oven Recipe)

These easy brown sugar pork chops bake up tender, juicy, and perfectly caramelized thanks to a simple brown sugar–garlic rub that melts into a sweet, sticky glaze. With just a few pantry ingredients and minimal prep, they’re the kind of weeknight dinner everyone looks forward to.

  • Preheat your oven to 400° F.
  • Prepare a 13 x 9 inch pan with tinfoil and cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a bowl combine the brown sugar, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Remove the pork chops from their package and pat dry.
  • Rub the brown sugar mixture all over both sides of dry the pork chops. Use all of the spice mixture.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. After 15 minutes flip pork chops over and adjust a bit in the glaze.
  • Remove the pork chops from the oven and serve.

  • Use pork chops at least 1 inch thick so they stay juicy and don’t dry out.
  • Pat the chops completely dry before seasoning to help the brown sugar rub stick and caramelize.
  • Coat generously with brown sugar for a true glaze rather than a simple spice rub.
