Blueberry Simple Syrup
This recipe for Blueberry Syrup is made with just 3 ingredients, including fresh and juicy blueberries. It’s the perfect addition to drinks, desserts, and more.

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Allow to simmer for 15 minutes then remove from heat.
Use a potato masher to smash the blueberries and let the mixture sit for an additional 5 minutes.
Use a fine mesh strainer to separate the blueberries from the syrup/juice.
Allow the syrup to cool before transferring to jars or bottles.
- Don’t cook on high heat: Make sure that the heat doesn’t get too high as it can burn the sugar.
- Skip the strainer: Like the chunky blueberry pieces? Don’t strain the syrup!
- Adjust the sweetness: Taste test the syrup and add more or less sugar based on your personal preference.
