These Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats are a terrific mashup of two tasty desserts. The banana pudding mix adds so much great flavor to the Krispies treats.

  • Melt your butter in a large pot over medium-high heat. Once the butter is completely melted, add in the marshmallows and vanilla extract. Stir frequently until the marshmallows are completely melted.
  • Add the banana pudding packet and rice cereal. Fold the ingredients together until they are well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch pan and press firmly into an even layer. Melt your white chocolate in the microwave and then drizzle it over the rice krispie treats.
  • Evenly space out the nilla wafers over the top of your rice krispie treats so they will be centered on each bar when sliced.
  • Let your rice krispie treats cool on the counter for an hour, or in the fridge for 30 minutes. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store these banana treats in an airtight container for up to 5 days either in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
  • Don’t pack the cereal mixture too tightly in the pan to prevent it from becoming hard and dense.
  • Remove the pot from the heat as soon as the marshmallows are melted. You don’t want them to burn.
