Air Fryer Toast

Air fryer toast is so easy to make, and it always cooks up perfectly. Golden brown and crispy, it's everything we love about toast, both thick and regular.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread, regular or thick sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter as needed if desired
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  • We used Standard Sized Sliced White Bread.

  • Remove bread from packaging.

  • Thick Sliced White Bread but any kind will do.

  • Remove bread from packaging.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Spread a small amount of butter onto each side of the bread, if desired, I always do. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove toast and serve immediately.

  • The thicker sliced bread will only need 1 -2 additional minutes.

  • With butter, jam or whatever your heart desires. Enjoy every bite!

  • If wanting to toast more than one slice at a time, try leaning as many slices that will fit around edge of your basket. Cook for same length of time. With or without butter. Once you figure out exact timing on your favorite bread you'll stop using your toaster. Juzt like we did.

Notes

  • Always preheat your air fryer for even cooking.
  • Always spray your basket with nonstick spray so nothing sticks.
  • You only need a thin layer of butter on your bread, if desired.
  • If wanting to toast more than one slice at a time, lean as many slices that will fit standing up around the edge of your air fryer basket. Cook for same length of time. With or without butter.
  • Once you figure out exact timing on your favorite bread you'll stop using your toaster. Just like we did.
