- 2 pounds seedless watermelon chunks weight after cutting, about 8 cups
- 1 cup water or more, see notes
- 6 tablespoon lime juice 2-3 limes
- ⅓-½ cup honey depending on sweetness
Working in batches, to a blender add watermelon, water, lime juice and honey, and blend on high until smooth and well mixed.
Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher or another contain if you want to strain it twice.
Taste and add more water or honey as desired.
Add to a pitcher. Serve with a slice of lime and mint, if desired.
- I like to strain the mixture twice to remove as much pulp as possible. It makes the final result extra smooth.
- If you don’t have a blender, you can use a muddler or food mill, but the texture won’t be as smooth. For the best results, I highly recommend using a blender.
- Straining helps create a smoother, more enjoyable drink. If you prefer a little pulp, you can strain it just once instead of twice, but don’t skip it altogether.
