Thanksgiving Turkey and Dressing (Crock Pot)

This Turkey Stuffing Casserole is easy to make, and makes for a great weeknight dinner so you can enjoy the flavors of Thanksgiving any day of the year!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless turkey breasts whole or in chunks.
  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix whichever flavor is your favorite
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken stock

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients together. Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
  • Place turkey down the bottom of the crockpot and season with salt, pepper and whatever seasoning you like.
  • In a mixing bowl mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream and stock. Gently stir in the stuffing.
  • Spread it on top of the turkey. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.

Notes

  • Use leftovers: Use leftover turkey from your Thanksgiving dinner for this recipe. You’ll just need to warm the turkey and stuffing here, so make sure you cut down the cooking time by an hour or two, to get the perfect texture. 
  • Flavor bomb: Add some poultry seasoning or even just some garlic powder or onion powder to add more flavor to the casserole. 
  • Topping wise: Enhance the texture of the casserole by topping it with breadcrumbs or fried onions, or both. Shredded cheese is a great option too!
