Tequila Berry Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries frozen or fresh
  • cup sugar
  • cup water
  • 2 ½ oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz club soda you can add more if you would like it on the lighter side
  • 2 ½ oz Berry Syrup

Instructions

  • Get out and measure your ingredients.

Syrup Directions

  • In a saucepan mix the berries, sugar, and water.
  • Place on the stove and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the water has thickened, and the berries are soft.
  • Use a cocktail muddler or masher to mash up the berries. Cook for a couple more minutes.
  • Strain syrup and discard the pieces. Set aside.

Cocktail directions

  • Fill the shaker with ice and add tequila
  • triple sec
  • lime juice
  • and berry syrup.
  • Close the lid, and shake until combined and chilled. (Approximately 30 seconds).
  • Fill your glass with ice and strain the drink again while pouring, if desired.
  • Top up with club soda and stir.
  • Garnish with mint and extra berries.
  • Enjoy every sip!
