Strawberry Pie

Easy Strawberry Pie is delicious and filled with fresh strawberries. This easy pie only takes about 40 minutes from start to finish.

Ingredients

  • 9 inch deep dish pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 3 ounce box strawberry jello
  • 2 ½ pounds fresh strawberries

Instructions

  • Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  • Prick the crust with a fork and bake the crust according to package directions.
  • Let cool.
  • In a small pot whisk together the cornstarch, sugar and water until smooth.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
  • Remove from the heat and whisk in the strawberry jello.
  • Set aside and let cool while you prep the strawberries.
  • Slice your strawberries in half and place in a large bowl.
  • Toss the strawberries with the jello mixture.
  • Pour everything into the cooled pie crust.
  • Place in fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Serve with whipped cream and enjoy every bite.
