- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup whole milk
- 2 cups fresh strawberries tops cut off
- 2 ripe bananas
Toppings
- whipped cream
- fresh strawberries
Let ice cream soften on counter for about 10 minutes.
Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender. Process for 1 minute or until smooth. Scrape down sides of blender as needed and blend again until mixture is uniform.
Pour milkshake into glasses.
Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
- Chill your glass inside your freezer for 20-30 minutes before adding milkshake to keep the shake cold for longer period of time when you serve it.
- Stop blending as soon as milkshake is smooth and blended to avoid it becoming too airy and losing its creamy texture.
- Don’t add ice if you prefer a thicker milkshake use frozen fruit instead.
- If you are wanting a thicker milkshake use less milk or add more ice cream and for a thinner milkshake add more milk.
- Whole milk will result in the creamiest milkshake.
- If your ice cream is very hard leave it on the counter for 10-15 minutes to soften before blending to make it easier to blend.
- If you prefer a richer milkshake use full-fat ice cream.
- Taste your milkshake before serving to make sure you've achieved your desired consistency and flavor.
