Smoked Green Beans
Smoked Green Beans are buttery, garlicky, and full of smoky flavor. This homemade green beans recipe has a ring of familiarity to it, but takes the taste of green beans to a whole new level!

- 1 lbs Green Beans
- ½ cup Butter melted
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Garlic or to taste.
Optional Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 cloves garlic minced or one tablespoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup dill weed
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ tsp salt
When ready to cook, set smoker temperature to 250°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. Get your beans ready.
Put the green beans in a pile on a rimmed baking sheet and pour the melted butter over them. Using tongs, spread the beans out in the pan and season with salt and black pepper.
Roast the beans for about 3 hours, stirring and lifting with tongs every 20 minutes or so. The beans should be very tender, shriveled, and lightly browned in places.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve while hot. Enjoy!
