Slow Cooker Hot Dogs
These Crock Pot Hot Dogs are an ideal party food for any occasion. If you want to save time while feeding a crowd, I highly recommend throwing some hot dogs in the slow cooker.

- 24 hot dogs beef, turkey, or your favorite variety
Optional
- hot dog buns toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish, etc.)
Stand the hot dogs upright in the slow cooker, stacking them vertically to fit as many as you need. You can also lay them down horizontally if preferred.
Cover with the lid and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours until heated through.
About halfway through cooking, use tongs to gently move the hot dogs around. This helps them cook evenly, especially if you're layering a lot of them.
Once hot, switch the slow cooker to warm and serve directly from the pot.
- The size of your crock pot will determine how many crock pot hot dogs you can make.
- Avoid overcooking them because it will cause them to split and shrivel.
- You may safely leave the hot dogs in the crock pot on the warm setting for up to 4 hours.
