  • Divide the mixture in half, then spread it evenly between two 8-inch cake pans. Let the layers cool at room temperature for about 45 minutes before removing them from the pans.
  • Lightly grease your cake stand or serving plate with a thin layer of butter or cooking spray before placing the first Rice Krispie layer on top to help prevent sticking.
  • Carefully run a knife around the edges of the pans and gently remove the Rice Krispie treat layers. Place one layer on a cake stand or serving plate and spread a generous layer of frosting over the top. Add the second layer, then frost the top and sides of the cake evenly. Finish with rainbow sprinkles, then slice, serve, and enjoy!
