- 1 18–20 ounce box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on the box (usually eggs, oil, and water)
- 3 large eggs
- ⅓ cup light corn syrup
- ⅓ cup brown sugar packed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecan halves
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch pan or line with parchment paper.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the pecans until fully coated.
Carefully spoon the pecan mixture evenly over the top. Spread gently with a spatula if needed.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, until the pecan topping is golden and set.
Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing into bars.
