McDonald’s Biscuit and Gravy is perfect for breakfast or dinner! It uses refrigerated biscuits and a quick homemade sausage gravy to create a lovely side dish.

  • Bake your biscuits according to the directions. This will take approximately 8-12 minutes.
  • While the biscuits are baking continue with the recipe.
  • In a skillet add the sausage over medium heat. Cook for 7 minutes or until the sausage is no longer pink.
  • Once cooked add the flour. Stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add the milk, pepper, and salt. Stir until thicker.
  • Top the biscuits with the gravy.
  • Top with more pepper if you like.

Notes

  • Store your McDonald’s sausage gravy in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat it in a saucepan over medium heat. Add milk as needed to reach your desired creaminess.
  • Skip draining the grease from the cooked sausage and use it with the flour to thicken your gravy.
