Crock Pot Turkey Bolognese

  • Get out and measure your ingredients.
  • Chop all vegetables, and turkey into small chunks.
  • Add carrots to a food processor and chop until it’s almost liquid.
  • Add the tomatoes, vegetables, bay leaves and Italian seasoning to the crock pot.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
  • In the final hour of cooking add the turkey and the mushrooms. Stir to combine and cook a further hour.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over spaghetti (or your favorite pasta).
  • With parmesan cheese and some fresh parsley, oregano or basil. Enjoy every bite!

I don’t have leftover turkey but I still want to try this recipe.
That’s fine, just use ground turkey instead. Brown the ground turkey before adding to the sauce.
