- 1 cup cottage cheese preferably full-fat or 2%
- ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon dried chives or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives
- ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1–2 tablespoons buttermilk or milk for a thinner consistency
In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Add in the onion powder, garlic powder, dill, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper. Pulse briefly to incorporate the seasonings.
Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or herbs as desired. If you prefer a thinner dip, add a tablespoon or two of milk or buttermilk and blend again.
Transfer the dip to a bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve with raw vegetables, potato chips, pita chips, or as a spread for sandwiches and wraps.
Makes about 1 ½ cups
