Chipotle Lime Dip
Chipotle lime dip is cool, cream, and packs a bit of heat all at the same time. This chipotle lime sauce is perfect as a dip or topping.

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 green onions sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 4 chipotle chiles in adobo minced or about 1 heaping tablespoon
- ½ teaspoon adobo sauce from can of chipotle peppers
- 1 tablespoon lime zest grated
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Get out and measure your ingredients.
In a medium sized mixing bowl combine mayo, sour cream, green onions, garlic, chipotle chiles, adobo sauce, lime zest and juice.
Stir until creamy and well blended.
Store refrigerated in an airtight container for at least 2-3 hours before serving, even longer the better, and up to 3 days total. Including the day you made it.
Serve with sweet potato fries, sliced vegetables like cucumber, peppers, celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and so much more.
- Mix your dip extremely thoroughly to ensure it's completely blended.
- The longer your chill this dip, the better. That chilling process is what allows all the flavors to meld together so well.
