- 1 pound ground sausage
- 6 large eggs or 12 egg whites
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 ¼ cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 16 ounce can biscuit dough
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cook the sausage in a pan over medium-high heat and use a spatula to break up the sausage as it cooks. Cook the sausage for about 5 minutes, or until it is browned and cooked through all the way. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, cheese, salt, and pepper.
Line a 9x13 inch glass baking sheet with the biscuit dough and then pour the egg mixture on top.
Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the top of the biscuits and then cook the casserole for 35 minutes, or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn golden brown.

- Use cooked and drained sausage. This prevents a greasy texture to the casserole.
