Air Fryer Bacon Onion Rings

Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings? Is this real life? This is certain to be your new favorite way to cook up onion rings in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • ¾ pound bacon
  • 1 large white onion, or 2

Chipotle Ranch Dip

  • 1 tablespoon chipotle peppers in adobo
  • 1 pkg (1 oz) ranch dressing and seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Get out and measure your ingredients.
  • Peel and slice onion into thick full circles. Wrap onion slices with bacon.
  • For this step- I like to use 2 onion rings at a time. It may use the entire slice of bacon or there may be some excess depending on the size of the onion ring. Trim away excess bacon.
  • Lay a piece of foil in the air fryer under the onion rings. Set to 390 and cook for 10-12 minutes. Do not stack the onion rings. You may need to do multiple batches.
  • Add ingredients to food processor.
  • As the onion rings cook, make the chipotle sauce. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and pulse for 20-30 seconds or blended.
  • Dip must be nice and smooth!
  • Remove with tongs and set aside.
  • Serve immediately with chipotle dip and enjoy!
