3 Ingredient Pie Crust
This 3 ingredient pie crust recipe delivers all the flaky, golden-brown deliciousness we want without all the work! I used to only use three ingredients total, however, now I always include salt. I find the result just a little bit better.

- 2 cups flour
- 6 tablespoon butter melted
- 2-3 tablespoon water
- ½ teaspoon salt if desired, I always include it now
Get out and measure your ingredients.
Place flour and salt in a 9-inch pie plate. Mix together. (If you are in a hurry or don’t feel like taking your time and being neat, you can also mix this together in a bowl.)
Add melted butter.
Add water. Continue mixing until dough forms. I like to use my hands to combine the ingredients well.
When dough is uniform, press it into the bottom of your pie plate.
I form the edges with my fingertips to create a more polished look.
Using a fork, poke several holes in the bottom of the crust.
It can be baked blind (350ºF for 20 minutes or until slightly golden), frozen for up to two weeks, or used in any baked pie recipe and baked according to that recipe.
