Ingredients
4cupsgreen beansfresh, cut (or 3 cans drained)
1can (10.5 oz)condensed cream soupmushroom, celery or chicken
½cupmilk
1tablespoonsoy sauceor Worcestershire sauce
4cupschicken broth or water
1cupcheeseshredded, divided (optional)
1 cupcrispy fried onions
Instructions
Get out and measure your ingredients.
Prepare a casserole sized foil pan with butter or non-stick spray, set aside.
In a mixing bowl combine the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, and ½ of the shredded cheese.
Boil green beans in chicken broth or water until they are bright green, roughly five minutes.
Stir in beans and ⅔ cup fried onions.
Pour mixture into the lightly greased foil pan.
Smoke at 250 degrees for about 30-45 minutes, until the mixture is bubbling.
Remove from smoker and sprinkle the top of the casserole with the remaining fried onions and shredded cheese.
Return to the smoker for an additional 20-30 minutes, until the cheese has melted and is golden brown.
