Ingredients
1lbsGreen Beans
½ cupButtermelted
½teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper
1 tablespoonGarlic or to taste.
Optional Sauce Ingredients
½cup sour cream
3clovesgarlicminced or one tablespoon minced garlic
¼cupdill weed
¼ teaspoonpepper
½ tsp salt
Instructions
When ready to cook, set smoker temperature to 250°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
Put the green beans in a pile on a rimmed baking sheet and pour the melted butter over them. Using tongs, spread the beans out in the pan and season with salt and black pepper.
Roast the beans for about 3 hour, stirring and lifting with tongs every 20 minutes or so. The beans should be very tender, shriveled, and lightly browned in places. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve while hot. Enjoy!
Optional Sauce directions
Mix together all sauce ingredients and allow to chill while your green beans are smoking. Drizzle over green beans and serve.
