Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk one large egg. Brush egg wash over pie crust. Do not take out the tin foil pan.
When the crust is fully coated, bake for 8 minutes. This helps firm the crust and prevents breaking.
Rinse berries and allow to dry in a strainer until needed.
Over high heat, bring one cup of water to a boil. Once boiling, stir in the Jell-O package until powder is completely dissolved.
Once the Jell-O is completely dissolved, pour into a heat resistant bowl.
Stir in frozen whipped topping and mix until completely blended.
Stir in berries.
Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Pour mixture into pie shell, filling it evenly and smoothing the top to create a flat surface.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Once chill time is complete, remove from the refrigerator. Top with additional whipped cream and serve immediately.
Slice and serve.
Enjoy every bite.
Notes:
Keep pie refrigerated.
The pie will have a light and fluffy texture!
