  • 13 x 9 inch cake pan or 11 x 9

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered or icing sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups peanut or almond butter, smooth or crunchy
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup pecans, chopped, more or less to taste
  • ¼ cup Heath or Skor bits, more or less to taste
  • ¼ cup peanut butter chips, more or less to taste

  • Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, graham cracker crumbs, sugar and 1 cup of the peanut butter.
  • Stir until incorporated.
  • Press on to the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan, as evenly as you can.  I use the bottom of a large glass to help me flatten the layer out.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine ¼ cup of peanut butter and the chocolate chips.
  • Melt on high in 20 or 25 second intervals.  At each break stir.  Keep slowly heating until smooth.
  • Spread chocolate all over top.
  • Sprinkle pecans, peanut butter chocolate chips and Heath or Skor bits all over top of the chocolate layer.  Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  • When you're ready to slice them, run a sharp knife under some really hot water so your slices look smooth and beautiful. Put your knife back under the hot water and wipe in between slices as well.
  • Serve and enjoy every bite!
  • These bars are best kept stored in your refrigerator or freezer. They will last for up to 5 days inside your fridge or 2 months in the freezer.

*If you’re peanut butter mixture seems too runny, try adding an extra ¼ cup of icing or powdered sugar and stir until blended. You might need up to another ¼ cup.
**Also, if your home is warm, you might need to keep this dessert inside your fridge or freezer until moment of serving.
