  • 13 x 9 inch cake pan

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ cup nutella
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips or sprinkles for decoration, if desired

Cream Cheese Icing

  • 4 cups icing or powdered sugar - or 1 pound
  • ½ cup butter or one stick
  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • Prepare a 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray and set aside. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  • In a heavy bottomed saucepan, over low heat, melt butter and add sugar and vanilla until combined. Add eggs and whisk until blended. Continue to whisk and add flour mixture until combined. Add peanut butter and Nutella.  Stir until blended.
  • Remove from heat.  Pour the batter into your prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30 -35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. The top will looked cracked and darken around the edges. Let brownies cool completely before adding icing.
  • While brownies are cooling prepare your icing. Using a hand held mixer ideally blend together butter and cream cheese. Slowly add icing or powdered sugar until incorporated. Once brownies are cool spread icing all over the top of them. Decorate with sprinkles or chocolate chips! Refrigerate. After about an hour cut and serve. These are delicious. Enjoy!
