My Grandma's Easy Ice Cream Cones

This is a quick and easy treat for your family to enjoy.  You can fill them with ice cream or whipped cream!  They are so much better homemade! 
Servings 6 cones


  • 2 large eggs
  • cup icing or powdered sugar -
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour - plus more for dusting
  • parchment paper, cooking spray or butter, for greasing


  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

  • Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with either parchment paper, butter or cooking spray.
  • In a medium sized bowl combine eggs, sugar and flour. 
  • Blend with a whisk until combined.
  • Spread batter on your prepared pan in circles, as big or as little as you want. Start with a bigger cone at first, they are easier to roll.
  • Bake for between 4 and 6 minutes. When baked, loosen with a spatula or sharp knife and form a cone.
  • If the cones are cold before you have them formed, return them to your oven for a moment or two to warm them up.
  • These cones are best used the same day. Store unfilled in an airtight container. 
  • Just before serving fill with whipped cream, ice cream or custard! Sprinkles also make everything better! Enjoy!
