These Leftover Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Wraps are absolutely wonderful! I always make extra so we eat these chicken wraps the next day!

    Leftover Honey Garlic Chicken Wraps

Years ago, Ken made these wraps with our leftover Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs and rice and we have been making them ever since. Now we make extra on purpose!  These wraps are that good!

This is one of those recipes that started out as a way to use up leftovers in the fridge to a recipe in our arsenal or regular rotation.  I actually make extra honey garlic chicken thighs and plan to make these tasty wraps every time.  I never make one without the other.

We just love the sauce, combined with the shredded chicken thighs, the rice, the corn, the cheese, the sweet peppers.  All go so beautifully together.  I couldn't believe it myself the first time I had one and you won't believe it either!

Shred all of the leftover chicken from the night before and save all of the leftover sauce.  You want the shredded chicken covered in sauce and I usually store the two together in one container overnight in the fridge.

When I am ready to make these wraps I simply heat the chicken on the stove and either reheat or make some rice.  When making the wrap I put the rice down first and then cover the rice with the shredded chicken and drizzle the sauce everywhere.

Next, I generally add shredded cheese so it melts on top of the hot or warm chicken and sauce.  After that I don't think the order matters very much.

I also am dying to hear what other ingredients you add to your wraps and would love to hear in the comments below.  Really.  Together we can help each other be better in the kitchen!

I have been making these wraps for so long that I just can't imagine including anything else.  Does that ever happen to anyone else?  Hopefully I am not the only one who gets stuck.

Regardless, if you include any other ingredients in your wrap that you enjoyed and have a moment please let me know what you did!  I might just try it myself and be grateful!

Lay tortillas flat on your work surface.

To assemble, add ingredients to the middle ⅓ of each tortilla.

First sprinkle some cheese, add shredded honey garlic chicken, rice, corn and then peppers.

Fold one end of the tortilla, then the opposite (optional if eating right away) and then the sides.

Wrap burrito tightly using toothpicks, if you are going to eat right away, or tinfoil, if you are going to need to reheat them in the oven.
