Ingredients
- 4 skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup barbecue sauce -
- 2 bacon
- cheddar, shredded or grated
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with tin foil and cooking spray. Set aside. In a medium sized bowl pour enough barbecue sauce to coat all four breasts, usually about 1 cup. Place coated chicken breasts on top of your prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes or cooked. Baste chicken with extra sauce at least once during baking. Cook bacon until crisp while chicken is baking. Drain on paper towel and set aside.
- Remove chicken from oven and turn it up to broil. Place some French's fried onions on top of chicken, then sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and starts to brown. Add bacon strips on top of cheese as soon as you remove chicken from the oven. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
